1. Can the children not on school meals design their own place mats at Christmas?
Answer- Yes
2. Can all the children have Christmas dinner?
Answer- No because we only have a mini kitchen with a capacity of 100.
3. Can parents be given the opportunity to have their childrens work at the end of the year?
Answer- This is under review because we have to keep work back for monitoring and evidence of progress.
4. Can we have parent workshops to help with home work?
Answer - yes, a maths workshop will be held in the Autumn term.
5. Will girls be able to wear trousers in the winter?
Answer- No, our current uniform code of dress dose not include trousers. The Governors will however review the dress code in the Autumn term.
6.Can girls wear grey socks?
Answer- white is preferable but grey may be worn if you wish.
7.Can liquid soap be available in the toilets?
Answer- No, the school budget could not meet demand and for health and safety reasons it is not appropriate.
8.Milk-has the provider changed?
Answer-No
9.Assemblies-Afternoon assemblies means children are late coming out and why afternoon assemblies?
Answer-Assemblies were changed to afternoons due to maximising teaching time. Assemblies are finished before 3.30 so children should not be late coming out.
10. Can we give a breakdown of contributions? What if I don't pay?
Answer- All requests for contributions are voluntary, If we do not receive enough money a trip/activity will and has been in the past cancelled. The majority of parents do contribute. School fund records show totals but not individual contributions.
